Parish Priest - Father Robert Stewart
Fr. Robert Stewart (Fr Rob) arrived in Aldershot as our new Parish Priest in September 2023.
He was ordained priest by Bishop Philip Egan on 25th June 2017 for the Diocese of Portsmouth, following Formation at St John's Seminary, Wonersh. He has served in Abingdon, Guernsey and Reading, and for the past three years he has been Parish Priest of St Margaret Mary's Park Gate near Fareham, where he has also served as part of the Catholic Chaplaincy to Queen Alexandra Hospital. He was formed and ordained alongside our own Fr Ansel D'Mello who has replaced him in Park Gate. Please pray for him as he begins his ministry here.

Deacon Craig Aburn Obl.O.S.B.
Deacon Craig has been a member of Aldershot Parish since 2009 and was ordained Deacon in July 2016. He has worked with four parish priests. He is also the Webmaster for this site. He is an Oblate of the Order of St Benedict.

He began Formation for the Diaconate in 2011 and was ordained deacon by Bishop Philip Egan on 2nd July 2016 for the Diocese of Portsmouth. His ministry in the parish is mainly at weekends as he works full time for the diocese. He is passionate about promoting Vocations to the Priesthood and Diaconate and has led a monthly Holy Hour for this intention for several years. During his ministry he has previously served as part-time Chaplain to St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Blackwater Valley Scout District and TS Swiftsure Sea Cadets. He also served a four-year term, from 2018-22, as a Foundation Governor at All Hallows Catholic Secondary School where he was also Chair of the Catholic Community Committee of the Governing Body. He is a visiting skills lecturer at his alma mater, St Mary's College Oscott, where he teaches "Deacon at the Altar" Practical Liturgical Skills to the Diaconate Students to prepare them to assist at Mass and celebrate liturgies such as Holy Baptism and Benediction. Deacon Craig has been married to Nicki for 29 years and they have two adult children.
